A little brother?!?

Common questions in our house right now are, "Go get brother now?" and "I go Russia too?" So...how do you explain the Russian adoption process to a 2.5 year old who has difficulty waiting 30 seconds for her sippy cup?!? We try to avoid detailed conversation around her but she is really curious and very excited to say the least. She is loving picking out the little fish we are putting in his room and when we see boy clothes she begs to "get if for brother". We continue to tell her it will be a "long time" (as we pray it won't) but then again I told her it will also be a "long time" before her friend's birthday party next weekend. Poor thing! My mom sent this adorable t-shirt in the mail today - she loves it! We can hardly wait to see the interactions between the two of them!

Your daughter looks adorable in her new shirt which is totally cute. It's great that she is wanting to get her brother and already pointing at things for him. They will be adorable together!!

Your daughter is very cute! It's wonderful that she is already aware of brother! Hopefully, it won't take too long if we can just get things moving in Tver!! :)

What a cute shirt. I can't imagine the challenges of having to answer those questions. I hope your wait is short so she can meet her brother soon.

So cute!! We're having problems trying to explain the concept of a baby sister to our recently-turned-3-year-old; I think he believes it's just the imaginary game we keep talking about. It will be interesting to see what he thinks about the real thing:)
